Jack

Jack is a sensitive Cavapoo who is looking for a patient and experienced home where he can build confidence and settle in at his own pace. While he has a playful and loving side with those he has bonded with slowly, he can be worried by unfamiliar people and new situations. Jack is seeking owners who have owned or cared for dogs before and have a solid understand of stranger reactivity and can take their time with Jack while introducing him to new people, without placing pressure on him. Jack can bark and growl at people at times and this has been seen in his previous home, as well as here at Battersea Old Windsor. His new owners must be pepared to continue the training and management advice we have put in place to help him so far. He can also find more invasive and clinical handling stressful, so this will need to be worked on slowly in his new home to help continue a positive association to different scenarios.Once Jack is comfortable, his affectionate nature truly shines.
