Are you right for Jasper? Jasper is a sweet 1 year old Malinois mix who is looking for a patient home where he can learn that the world isn't such a scary place. Jasper has come to us as a stray, so he may need some help with housetraining, and any time left home alone will need to be built up gradually. At the moment, Jasper is an incredibly nervous little dude who finds lots of everyday things quite daunting. Walking on lead, going through doorways and meeting new people or dogs can all feel overwhelming for him. Because of this, Jasper will need to be the only pet in the home and can live with upper secondary-age children who can give him the space and patience he needs. When Jasper is off lead in a secure area, we start to see the real dog underneath all those nerves. As his confidence grows, his personality really begins to shine.
