Jasper

Jasper is our silly shy youngster. At just over 1½ years old, he is rather boisterous around the kennel. He is unaware of his own height and length and typically will throw himself around when moving from one area of the kennels to another. Jasper is also our newest Spook* currently he fears anybody that he doesn’t know. He refuses to come out of his kennel if he hears a voice he doesn’t recognise. However, being young, he can be coaxed out of his kennel once unfamiliar visitors have left. If you ever arrive at the kennel and hear the staff doing silly voices calling ‘Jazzy’, that’s just us coaxing him out of bed when he is feeling unsure. Unlike our other spook Tanya, Jasper is not yet happy to spend time outside. He’s happy to go out for a toilet and food but once his business is finished, he wants to get back to the safety of his kennel. At not quite 2 years old there is time for Jasper to be able to overcome his fears with the help of a gentle but firm adopter. He just needs guidan...
