Jessie

Jessie is a nice Lurcher who came to us for rehoming through no fault of her own – the family got her via a private rehome, but a child in the home wasn’t comfortable around her.Jessie is a nice natured, and seems to be pretty relaxed. She settles in her bed (in true lurcher style), but also enjoys getting out and about on her walks – she particularly enjoys her time off lead in our exercise compounds, playing ball! She loves a tennis ball and would happily chase it all day!!She seems to be happy around most of the other dogs here on her walks. Apparently the previous owner tried to rehome her privately but her and the other female dog in the home didn’t get along too well. She may be better as an only dog, or in a home with a calm castrated male for company. She’s not sociable with cats.Jessie has lived with children, and was friendly – she could go to live in a family home again with children over 5yrs… but any children in the home would need to be used to dogs.
