Jim is a very nervous boy who finds meeting new people difficult and will need time, patience and understanding to build a bond. When feeling unsure around unfamiliar people, Jim may freeze or try to move away if he feels he doesn’t have enough space, so it’s important that his body language is understood and his boundaries are respected. The good news is that Jim has settled well into kennel life and has shown that he can build relationships with handlers. He will need multiple meets with his potential adopters before heading off to his forever home, so he can become comfortable at his own pace.
