Jockey

Gorgeous Jockey has spent more than half of his life in the shelter. Despite this, he has kept his playful, silly nature. He is always up for a game and will keep you smiling with his funny antics. With his fluffy coat, he’s also one of the most handsome dogs around! Jockey does have a stubborn streak and likes things his own way. He can be wary of strangers and sudden movements, most likely due to being mistreated by previous owners. He isn’t a fan of the vet (no surprise there!), but once you earn his trust he is a joy to be around. He loves running and playing at the dog park, especially with his female friends, since he’s the only boy in his group. Jockey feels safe in his little kennel spot, and he would do well in a calm home with a relaxed atmosphere, not too many visitors, and a laid-back family. He can live with another dog, but will need an adult-only home. Jockey has been neutered.
