Joey

Joey arrived at Battersea with some of his siblings from another rescue. We have no information on their history.

Joey, like all his siblings, really struggled to adjust to the London site, especially in the first few days. Joey was very worried and didn't want to go outside, he also would shy away from people outside and inside his kennel. However, Joey has proven to be one of the most confident of his siblings! He has an affectionate nature, but will require dedicated owners willing to work with him every step of the way. He is likely to take some time to adjust into a home and owners will need patience and a devotion to helping Joey become the playful dog we know he can be.

Joey enjoys the company of other dogs and gets a lot of confidence from them. He has briefly shown some playful behaviours but has also told off other dogs for being too much. He enjoys a steady walking friend who can offer gentle play.
