He can be a little nervous at times and may feel conflicted in new situations, so he’d be best suited to a family with children aged 11+ who can respect his boundaries and read his signals. Kevin loves playing with his handlers, especially games with toys, and this is a great way to build his confidence and build a strong bond. As Kevin has come to us with no previous home history, he’ll need support with housetraining and learning to be left alone gradually. He can sometimes bark to seek attention, so ongoing training to help him settle will be important. Kevin is uncomfortable around other dogs, so he’ll need to be the only pet in the home; however, he would benefit from opportunities to socialise at his own pace.
