She will need to have a private, secure garden, as she’ll take time to work up to regular walks out and about. Lacey could live with a confident, and playful dog who matches her playstyle and can help with her confidence; male dogs must be neutered. She cannot live with cats but can live with small pets if kept separately. Once she is ready, her walks will need to be in quiet areas away from busy roads. Her new family should be able to separate her from unknown visitors while she builds trust. Lacey can live with upper secondary school‑aged children who will help her feel secure and supported. With time, reassurance, and the right canine companion, Lacey will grow into the bright, affectionate dog she’s meant to be.
