Lad could live with children aged 16+. He needs to be the only animal in the home. Lad is a lovely boy who has been a pleasure to spend time with during his stay with us here at the shelter. He really enjoys getting out and about on his walks and having a good explore. He is also very food-motivated, so loves his treats, but this means he is quite a greedy boy and so we suspect he may have the potential to steal food if given the opportunity! Lad was found as a stray with a significant injury to his tail which, sadly, required amputation. Although we have no evidence, we suspect that Lad has possibly been a working dog previously. Any potential rehomers should keep this in mind when out and about on walks, as Lad does have a strong prey drive. Lad has shown some minor anxiety-related behaviours whilst in our care, sometimes becoming a little stressed and vocal. He will need a family who are confident and capable of managing these behaviours and who can help him to learn more appropriat...
