Louis

Louis is a lovely, affectionate greyhound who is continuing to show us his gentle and endearing nature as we get to know him. He’s always pleased to see our volunteers, greeting them with a waggy tail and happily heading out for his walks.On a recent trip to Hagley Park, Louis took his first car journey in his stride, eagerly jumping in and settling down straight away. He walked nicely and even ventured through a quiet café, where he initially seemed relaxed. When he spotted other dogs, he became a little unsure and chose to back away rather than react.Louis is still learning about the world beyond kennels and can be uncomfortable around other breeds at times, particularly when they are close by. However, he remains quiet and manageable, and with continued positive experiences, we expect his confidence to grow.He enjoys a fuss and being around people, happily settling in a quieter spot and soaking up attention.It’s still early days for Louis, and we’ll continue to update his progress b...
