Lucy arrived with us at just 10 months old, and at such a crucial age she missed out on the stability and guidance that young dogs need. Now over a year old, she’s still very much a puppy at heart — full of joyful, sweet, and loving energy — but she will need a little extra support with her training and socialisation to help her reach her full potential.Lucy is an affectionate and inquisitive girl who enjoys fuss and will happily follow you around. She walks well on the lead, but can be worried by the outside world, so she’ll need patience and gentle encouragement to build her confidence. She’s particularly insecure around strangers, especially men. With time, patience, and support from our behaviourist, she has the potential to form bonds with men and we are happy to accommodate multiple visits at the rescue whilst she builds trust.She is a clever, food-motivated girl who loves her toys and is keen to learn.
