Marley

Marley came to Foal Farm alongside Spaniel Belle. They came to Foal due to no fault of their own, due to a sad change in circumstances the dogs were no longer getting what they needed. They have not lived alongside each other for very long and they both need different homes in terms of exercise level and training. Considering this we would consider rehoming them separately to the right home however, if there is a dedicated family willing to put in double the effort, we would rehome them together. Marley can be a nervous little chap. When he firsts meet someone he may bark, growl and back away. But once he’s had a little time and a tasty treat, all he really wants to do is snuggle on your lap. He is a very affectionate boy. During his assessment Marley did display some resource guarding behaviour over some toys and a high value chew. These issues did not present in his previous home however extra care and training would need to be taken to ensure that this does not pose as an issue in a...
