Matilda

Matilda’s story is one of quiet bravery. She found herself at risk in the pound, facing euthanasia through no fault of her own. When we first met her, her skin was painfully sore and split, and her coat was thin across her whole body. She was uncomfortable, frightened, and desperately in need of kindness. And that’s exactly what she’s been given. Since coming into our care, Matilda has blossomed. Her skin is healing beautifully, her coat is slowly returning, and her spirit… well, that was always perfect. Matilda has fought through discomfort, fear, and neglect — and she’s still the gentlest soul.
