Description
Maude came to Foal as an emergency. She had been found by a member of public giving birth in a carrier bag. Sadly only one pup survived and was delivered by caesarian section.
On arrival, Maude was in a very sorry state. She was very underweight, had a leg injury, hair loss and was very dirty. With everything she had been through, Maude was understandably overwhelmed by her new environment but it did not take her long to realise that she was finally safe and being loved.
Fast forward 4 weeks and Maude is a shadow of the timid little girl that arrived. She has us firmly wrapped around her paws and enjoys her time with us.
She does get a little startled on walks, although she is happy to follow her handlers and feels reassured by their guidance. Any children in a potential home will need to be calm in nature to help Maude feel safe.
