Are you right for Amy?Amy is an 11-year-old Chihuahua with a big love for life, looking for a home with her best friend Joe, a 4-year-old Chihuahua. These two are the perfect pair, enjoying their little walks together before heading home to snuggle up on their favourite doughnut bed, which is just the cutest sight to see.Amy is the definition of chilled out and nothing much fazes her- she takes everything in her little stride. She loves getting out to explore and happily potters around the paddocks, taking in all the sights and smells, often while joe sits with his human friends- she's definitely the more adventurous chihuahua out of the pair. An independent lady, Amy is also an amazing companion and role model for Joe, helping him grow in confidence just by being by his side.Amy does have a heart murmur, but it doesn’t slow her down day to day and we would still encourage any applications that are concerned about this. Amy has so much love to give and plenty of adventures left in her.Amy and Joe are looking for a calm, adult-only home where they can be the only pets and enjoy a relaxed life full of companionship, gentle adventures, and lots of cosy cuddles. Hi everyone, my name's Archie and I may be little in size but have a big personality to make up for it.I have recently spent the last couple of months in Foster care with two staff members from the centre here, and I have loved being in a comfy home environment again. This has allowed the team to learn a lot more about my rehoming requirements. So here goes......I am going to need quite a special home that's nice and quiet with an owner who will give me lots of time, patience, reassurance and understanding as I am a very worried and scared little boy. I am not the type of dog that likes to be fussed or petted, so if you are looking for a lap dog that isn't me I'm afraid. However, the team have been working on other ways of interacting with me and I now know a "touch" command and I get so excited to do this, I'm such a good boy!I would also benefit from having a space in my new home just for me, where I can go to if I need some quiet time - my Foster Mums say I get very sleepy in the evening and will take myself off to my favourite "igloo" bed.I am spotlessly clean in the home, and I actually settle very well so would be fine to leave for a period of time - you will most probably find me asleep under my blanket upon your return as I love getting all snuggly and warm. I am not a fan of the rain, mud, getting dirty or being woken up from my snoozing though!Once I know and trust you the real Archie comes out to play - I just love my special mini sized balls and tug toys, we could have so much fun! I am actually very clever and know lots of commands, love enrichment activities and am keen to learn new things. I am good on the lead and really enjoy sniffy walks as long as I'm away from busy roads.I wouldn't be able to live with cats or dogs I'm afraid, but if you have an adult only home and would be willing to handle me carefully and build up my confidence I would love to meet you and show you the real Archie x

Are you right for Bexley?Meet Bexley, an adorable 6-year-old Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier mix. Bexley is a friendly and loving companion who has previously lived with cats and would happily do so again with proper introductions. He enjoys the company of other dogs and can live with them after successful meet and greets at our centre. Bexley is quite playful and loves interacting with other dogs during outings. Bexley is great with children aged 8 and up, as long as they understand his need for personal space. He is not a fan of long walks and can be hesitant about his harness, support on this will be given at the centre. Is Bexley right for you?Bexley thrives best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he doesn’t enjoy being left alone and can become vocal. He is house-trained and knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “wait.” Bexley is comfortable with car travel, making him a great travel buddy. While Bexley would love a home with a garden to sunbathe in, he can adapt to life without one as long as he has regular access to outdoor areas for bathroom breaks and exercise.Currently part of our home stay scheme, Bexley is still with his owner while we search for a new home due to the owner's health reasons. Bexley is eagerly waiting for a loving family to welcome him into their lives!

Hello. We’re Billy and Bear. We're a devoted father and son pair looking for a calm, understanding home together. We are very bonded and take comfort in one another. If we feel unsure, we look to each other for reassurance. Because of that, we need a quiet household where life is predictable and gentle. We haven’t been cat tested and would be best suited to a home without cats. We also need an adult only home with no busy social scene. We can feel overwhelmed by too much noise or activity, so adopters should be calm, experienced with small dogs and able to move at our pace. It’s clear we haven’t experienced much of the outside world before coming into rescue. Our foster home has been carefully building our confidence with short buggy trips and we’re making steady progress. We’ve now had our final vaccinations, so short walks can begin very soon. Each new step is helping us grow.We are both booked in for dentals on 13th March. Following that, we will be castrated, fully vaccinated until 2027 and fully up to date with our veterinary care. Billy just needs his recent procedure fully healed and Bear is gradually gaining weight as he’s currently on the lean side.House training is something we are still learning. We need adopters who are at home most of the time and able to let us out regularly (around hourly for now) so we can continue building good habits with patience and consistency. We can be unsure with visitors. The key with us is simple: allow us to approach in our own time and avoid reaching over our heads. When we feel safe and respected, we respond beautifully. In the right environment — calm, steady, and committed — we will form incredibly loyal bonds. We are affectionate, sensitive little boys who have already made great progress in foster care with our foster mum. With continued gentle guidance, we will continue to flourish. If you can offer us patience, structure, and a peaceful life together, we will give you devoted companionship in return. Can't wait to meet you.LoveBilly and BearXX

Hello.I’m Bramble, the black Pomchi. They think I'm around 9½ years old, but they can't be sure and I can't remember. That can happen when you get a bit older. Anyway, this is my very dear friend Bentley, although we all call him Benny, a gold Chihuahua estimated to be about 8½ years old. We’re a closely bonded pair of boys and are looking for a home together. We’ve been in our foster home now for around six weeks and have really started to settle. I’m the more confident one and Benny takes a lot of reassurance from having me by his side. We’re happiest when we’re together and we look to each other a lot. He's only got to glance my way and I know exactly what he's thinking. We’re very much a package deal.I’m the cuddlier of the two of us and I do absolutely adore snuggling up close to people. I’ll gently paw you when I’d like some affection so you can oblige. Benny is just as loving in his own way, but he prefers to just follow everyone from room to room, quietly keeping an eye on whatever’s going on.We’re both house trained, although if the weather is bad we’re not overly keen to head outside. Just saying. As we’ve settled, we’ve both grown in confidence and become more playful, especially me, which our foster family say is lovely to see. When it comes to walks, I enjoy heading out and exploring at my own pace, whereas Benny needs a bit more persuasion. He’s much happier pottering around the garden, which he'll do for ages, sniffing and taking everything in slowly. I think having me alongside him when we're out does help him feel a little braver. We can both be noise reactive and will bark at people or dogs passing the house, as well as when we’re out and about. Because of this, we’d suit a quieter, calm, understanding home with people who are happy to help us feel safe and supported.Health-wise, we’re being well looked after. Benny is booked in for a dental at the vets on the 16th January and I’m getting used to having my teeth brushed. I’m also on a special diet at the moment as I’m getting into shape for the summer. I’m doing well with that.At night, we love sharing the bed with our people, but we will also settle in another room if needed. Just so you know, Benny is a very loud snorer, which our foster family finds extremely endearing. We could live with another small friendly dog with the right introductions. Because we’re sensitive souls and can be easily startled, we’d be best suited to a home with older children only. We’re affectionate, comical little characters, and foster mum says any family willing to offer us a calm, loving home will be very lucky to have us.Get in touch soon if you think that could be you. We'd love to hear from you.Love,Bramble and BennyXx

Hi, I’m Chase.I’m a handsome 3-year-old boy with a huge personality and lots of character. Some people say I’m curious… others might say a little bit nosey.I’m an excitable, energetic chap who loves treats and long walks more than anything. Whether it’s the seaside, the countryside, or a busy high street, I’m just happiest being out and about exploring the world. I walk beautifully on the lead and apparently strut around like I’m doing a lap at Crufts — head high and back straight!I might look very confident, but underneath it all I can actually be a bit nervous at times. One thing I really don’t like at the moment is being picked up or having my harness and lead put on. I’m making good progress with this in foster, but my forever family will need to be patient and willing to help me continue building my confidence.I get on well with other dogs and have enjoyed play dates with doggy friends. When new people come to the house, I can get very excitable and rather shouty about it! My foster family have discovered that throwing a few pieces of carrot away from guests works brilliantly because I rush off to investigate instead.I think I’d love an active, outdoorsy home with people who enjoy adventures as much as I do. I’m still a bit of a work in progress, but for the right family, I’ll be an absolute dog in a million.Hope to meet you soon.Lots of LoveChaseX
