Alex is a very sweet boy who is really friendly and loves a cuddle, so is looking for a new home with an owner who has lots of time to give him the love and attention he enjoys.We are still assessing him at the moment, but he is showing good interactions with other dogs so we would love to find him a new home with another small dog already in the home, but we are not sure how he would react towards a cat, so would be best suited to a cat-free home.Alex is loving and affectionate and, once settled into his new home, we are sure that he will become a treasured member of your family. Hi everyone, my name's Archie and I may be little in size but have a big personality to make up for it.I have recently spent the last couple of months in Foster care with two staff members from the centre here, and I have loved being in a comfy home environment again. This has allowed the team to learn a lot more about my rehoming requirements.So here goes......I am going to need quite a special home that's nice and quiet with an owner who will give me lots of time, patience, reassurance and understanding as I am a very worried and scared little boy. I am not the type of dog that likes to be fussed or petted, so if you are looking for a lap dog that isn't me I'm afraid. However, the team have been working on other ways of interacting with me and I now know a "touch" command and I get so excited to do this, I'm such a good boy!I would also benefit from having a space in my new home just for me, where I can go to if I need some quiet time - my Foster Mums say I get very sleepy in the evening and will take myself off to my favourite "igloo" bed.I am spotlessly clean in the home, and I actually settle very well so would be fine to leave for a period of time - you will most probably find me asleep under my blanket upon your return as I love getting all snuggly and warm. I am not a fan of the rain, mud, getting dirty or being woken up from my snoozing though!Once I know and trust you the real Archie comes out to play - I just love my special mini sized balls and tug toys, we could have so much fun! I am actually very clever and know lots of commands, love enrichment activities and am keen to learn new things. I am good on the lead and really enjoy sniffy walks as long as I'm away from busy roads.I wouldn't be able to live with cats or dogs I'm afraid, but if you have an adult only home and would be willing to handle me carefully and build up my confidence I would love to meet you and show you the real Archie x

He is use to a dog walker and likes other dogs. He has no experience of young kids or cats, although he likes everyone he meets and loves to be the centre of attention. Baxter travels well in the car and sleeps well at night. He eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on his own if you need to go out. He is also crate trained. Baxter is registered with the vets and healthy with no medical issues. He would be the perfect companion pet to someone who is on their own or a family with older children who know how to respect dogs.

Beau and Chica are two adorable little sisters looking for a home together, as they’ve never known life without one another and are not just sisters, but absolute besties too. These lovely girls are happiest when life is calm and cosy, whether that’s snuggled up in a comfy bed, enjoying plenty of cuddles (Chica is particularly enthusiastic about those!), or soaking up the sunshine during one of Chica’s favourite sunbathing sessions. They also have a serious appreciation for hot dog sausages, so if you’ve got those in your pocket, you’ll have two very interested little shadows! They can be a little wary of new people at first, but Beau usually likes to check everything is safe before Chica takes her cue from her sister. It doesn’t take long before they’re both happily enjoying all the love and fuss on offer.Beau and Chica would love a peaceful home in a quieter area, away from lots of traffic and hustle and bustle, where they can truly relax and be themselves. They could live with older teenagers and above, as younger children can make them feel anxious, and they’re looking to be the only pets in the home as other dogs and animals can be a little overwhelming for them. They’ve previously been comfortable being left for a few hours, making them a lovely match for many households. If you’re looking for two sweet little companions with hearts full of love, adorable personalities and a lifelong friendship that comes as part of the package, Beau and Chica are ready to bring twice the warmth, twice the cuddles and twice the smiles into their new home.

Bella is a sweet and calm character, she loves a sniffy walk she could explore for hours. Bella will happily chill out on the sofa with her humans and always wants to be nearby. Bella is polite to everyone, vets included. Although Bella loves being beside you she doesnt always want fusses just knowing you are there is enough. Bella does get on with small dogs that are a similar size but anything bigger than her she does get a bit worried and can shout- she is a tiny girl its understandable.

Meet Billy, our lovely 10-year-old Jack Russell cross Chihuahua who is looking for his new beginning. Billy sadly came into our care after a change in his previous owner's living arrangements. It was a truly heartbreaking decision for his family, but they selflessly chose to do what was best for this special boy.Moving to a kennel environment has been a bit of a shock for Billy, but he has settled in remarkably well and absolutely loves spending time with our staff. Because he spent his whole life with just one family, he can be a little timid when meeting new people at first, so he’ll need an adopter who is happy to let him take things at his own pace.Billy hasn't had much socialization with other dogs throughout his life; he isn't aggressive at all, but he can be a bit barky when he sees them before quickly losing interest. Because of this, he would prefer a home where he can be the only pet.If there is one thing you need to know about Billy, it's that he adores tennis balls! If he could play fetch forever, he absolutely would. He is already well-trained on his harness and is just waiting for a quiet, loving home.We appreciate that due to his age, senior dogs like Billy can sometimes get overlooked, but he is a happy little chappy with so much love left to give! He isn't looking for a high-intensity lifestyle, just a dedicated family to help him live out his golden years in comfort, with a cozy spot on the sofa and a few balls thrown here and there.

He can live with children age 10+ He can live with another neutered dog pending successful meets at the sanctuary. What Buddy Needs Continued puppy training and socialisation. A private secure garden is preferrable.

Meet Cayde! This lovely little boy is a Pug X Chihuahua and 6 years old. He is an active little boy who loves playing with his toys and going out on adventures! When Cayde is excited he can bark (it must be the Chihuahua in him), but he is easily distracted by treats! This clever little boy enjoys his training and would enjoy someone who would like to do some basic training with him. He would like an active family to take him on adventures but also enjoy having down time together as he loves to sit on the knee of his favourite people. Cayde can live with children (7+) and dogs (dependent on sucessful meets. He may also be able to live with cats. Due to the nature of the kennel environment we can not say if Cayde is house trained or not.
