Breed: Chihuahua/Shih TzuAge: 12 Years ApproxLittle older chap Max came to us due to his previous owner going into care, and nobody in the family could take him on. From the photos, you will notice that Max can’t see very well (if at all), and this made him worried by his new surroundings when he first arrived… however it didn’t take him very long to find his feet! He’s such a sweet little gentleman! Once he knows you’re there, he gets excited and comes rushing over with a wagging tail!Despite his age, he’s quite sprightly and loves to go out of his walks – and even enjoys pottering around our exercise paddocks. Whilst he wont require multiple long walks ago, he will still need some daily exercise.Max has spent time in a foster home (prior to coming to us) with other dogs and was said to get along brilliantly with them. He may be able to share his home with another calm, gentle dog again.
