Hi there, my name is Max, and I’m a sensitive and friendly 3 year old Beagle looking for my forever home. I can be a little worried when I first meet new people, but give me a minute (and a good sniff!) and you’ll soon see my waggy bum come out to say hello .I’d really love a home with people who understand nervous dogs, or who are happy to learn how to read my body language — don’t worry, the team are more than happy to help you get to know me. Once I feel safe, I’m a very affectionate and cuddly boy who enjoys spending time with his humans. Because of my strong Beagle instincts, I can’t live with cats or small animals — I’d simply find them far too exciting to chase. In the future, I may be able to enjoy dog-walking friends, but that’s not something I need right now. What is important to me is finding a calm, rural home in the countryside, away from busy roads and lots of people.
