06-03-26 Max is a superstar Lurcher who has been returned to us from his adoptive family. They made the heartbreaking decision to bring him back as he was becoming dominant over the other dog in the home.He is a very excitable, happy boy - essentially an overgrown puppy in a big body. Max is full of fun and enthusiasm and will need an active home that can meet his exercise and stimulation needs. He already knows some basic commands such as “sit”, “paw”, “lay down”, and “wait”, and he is eager to interact with his people.Max loves other dogs but is often unaware of his size and strength, having grown into such a big lad very quickly. As he is still just a puppy, he is still learning about manners and can be mouthy and plays in a very typical Lurcher way. In his previous home, there was an incident when he was around 3 months old, where he was a little too rough and resulted in a small dog needing veterinary treatment.
