Are you right for Merlin?Merlin is a lively, affectionate boy who has previously spent a short time in a home. During this time he showed some grabbing behaviours - we would fully support his new family with guidance and training to help him manage this. Because of his enthusiastic and bouncy nature, Merlin would be best suited to a home with confident children aged 14 years and over who can handle his energy and respond calmly to him. Merlin travels well in the car, although he does need a helping hand to get in and out! He has lots of energy and will thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of physical exercise alongside mental stimulation. When it comes to other dogs, Merlin can be a overly enthusiastic in his interactions, so will need to continue socialising while out on walks. In the right circumstances, he could potentially live with a very tolerant dog. Merlin hasn’t yet been left alone, so any time on his own will need to be introduced gradually.
