Mia

Mia is a gorgeous seven-month-old crossbreed puppy who was found abandoned in Romania alongside her siblings. They were taken to a local shelter before Islay Dog Rescue stepped in to bring her to Scotland, where she is now searching for her forever home. Mia currently weighs 8.6kg and, as we do not expect her to grow much more, we believe she will remain a small dog. Mia has quickly become a favourite among the volunteers and staff at the rescue. Unlike many puppies of her age, she has a calm, gentle nature. She can be a little wary of new people at first, but given a little space and patience, she will soon approach, especially if tempted with a few tasty treats such as chicken or ham. Once Mia feels comfortable, her affectionate side begins to shine. She enjoys being stroked and is more than happy to snuggle up beside you, often rolling over for a belly rub from someone she trusts. As Mia has never lived in a home environment, she will need time to adjust to everyday household life. ...
