Mickey

Born in October 2018 Mickey (Droopys Depot) has only recently arrived. He is a confident lad in his kennel but wasn't so keen on the Paparazzi aka our Volunteer photographer Barbara and her trusty assistant Pete to start with . He was a bit camera shy! However he soon settled and made friends with them. Update 30/08/26 Mickey has been on his first outing today when he joined us for our annual picnic and walk and here is what his Volunteer Holly said about him"Though normally playful at the kennels now he has settled in Mickey was an incredible walking companion today. Loose lead the entire time, he checked in with me looking back for eye contact often while walking beside me or ahead, sniffing intensely occasionally whch is great. Mickey was often searching for affection, trying to place his head under other volunteers close swaying hands and occasionally leaning into me while we walked but never getting in the way.
