Are you right for Milk?Milk is a lovely 4 year old Beagle looking for a fairly active family to help him settle into his new home. He is a friendly boy who has enjoyed walks with the volunteers at our centre and he could join a home with children of older primary school age (8years +). Milk has walked on lead with other dogs at the centre but is a bit underconfident so would need to be the only dog in the home and would benefit from further socialisation training to build his confidence. Milk will chase cats and wildlife so is not suitable to live with cats or small furries. Once settled, he should be fine to be left for short periods of time. Due to his prey drive, Milk will need to be kept on lead outside of the home so would benefit from a secure garden so he has somewhere to run around of lead and burn off some energy.
