She can be worried and conflicted when meeting new people, but with patience and calm reassurance she warms up beautifully—just ask her foster dad, who she was wary of at first and then quickly became besties with. Missy enjoys her walks but isn’t interested in meeting other dogs when out and about; she’s much happier focusing on her person and her surroundings. She can be left for short periods, as long as time alone is built up gradually and thoughtfully.
