Ollie

Ollie is a young Lurcher, around a year old, who is slowly discovering that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. When Ollie first arrived in our care alongside his brother Stan, he was extremely frightened and unsure of everything around him. He clearly hadn’t had the best start in life, but with patience, kindness, and understanding, we’re beginning to see the wonderful dog hidden beneath his worries. Ollie can be nervous and skittish when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, but once he learns to trust you, he is a sweet-natured, gentle boy who will give you his whole heart. Building that trust takes time, but the reward is a loyal and devoted companion. He is making great progress and is learning to walk nicely on the lead, growing in confidence every day. Ollie could happily share his home with another dog, and we feel he would particularly benefit from living with a calm, confident female dog who could help show him the ropes and teach him that life can be ...
