Olympia is a joyful, playful, and affectionate Newfy cross who came to us as part of a rescue from a home in heartbreaking conditions. Her elderly owner, struggling with mental health, had become overwhelmed, and while the dogs were not intentionally mistreated, they went without proper care. Now safe with us, Olympia is finally experiencing love, stability, and gentle care.Olympia is like an overgrown puppy full of joy, always happy, and ready to play. She is sweet and gentle, taking treats carefully and showing her kind nature.Olympia was briefly adopted, and we were told she was an absolute angel in the house. However, she found it difficult to share her food and mealtimes with the resident dog and much preferred to be the only dog in the home. For this reason, we now feel Olympia would thrive best as an only dog, where she can enjoy all the love and attention to herself.Olympia is curious of other animals and has met cats in passing fine, but she doesn't like squirrels!
