Oreo

Are you right for Oreo?Oreo is a sweet but sensitive boy. He needs to live in an adult only home as he has growled at certain people, and has shown guarding behaviours. People who are also experienced with these behaviours would be ideal. Once Oreo knows you and is comfortable he is a super friendly boy and loves his fuss, he just needs the time to settle. We have only seen these behaviours when in the kennel environment, so I do think he was showing the aggression because he was stressed and unhappy, but now he’s in foster he is so much happier and doing really well. Oreo needs to be the only dog in the home as he isn’t a fan of sharing his space and doesn’t enjoy dogs in his face. Some dogs he will happily say hi to, this is normally females, but others he will growl at and has snapped. He can have walking friends out and about but needs his space indoors. Oreo has guarded food in the past so his new family would need to feed him in a separate area where he feels safe and comfortable...
