This cheeky smiler is Otis. He came in to the rescue as a puppy with his litter mates and is now 7 years old. Otis has had two homes so far and in both homes the same thing has happened; slowly over time Otis becomes dominant over his humans to the point they can’t control his behaviour any more. Unfortunately he senses weakness and without firm rules and boundaries he takes charge! We have no issues with him at the rescue. With us he is loving and behaves really well. But we don’t want his life to be a kennel and we are determined to find him a home where his humans understand that this lovely boy will take a mile if given an inch! He needs rules and routine and someone who ‘speaks dog’ so they will be able to see when he is testing boundaries. Otis will be a fantastic loyal companion to the right person.
