Paddy

Paddy is an approximately 7-year-old Lurcher who came into our care through the RSPCA Inspectorate after sadly being found abandoned. Paddy loves heading out into the field where he can take his time having a good sniff and exploring his surroundings. Once he's finished, he's more than happy to come back for some tasty treats and plenty of cuddles. Due to arriving so underweight, Paddy has lost some muscle mass and is currently having his exercise increased gradually as he becomes stronger. He is also being fed several smaller meals throughout the day to help him steadily gain weight. Given Paddy's history around food, he can sometimes be quite snatchy when taking treats.. For this reason, Paddy is looking for a home with older secondary-school-aged children who are confident around larger dogs and able to understand and respect his boundaries.
