Patch

Meet our sweet Patch. Patch came into Battersea as he was struggling to settle with children in his previous home. He was described as an affectionate boy who loves people but did have a few incidents of resource guarding high value items such as bones. Since being onsite Patch has shown to be a very sweet and fun boy. He loves people and thrives on attention but does have an insecure side and can struggle a little being left alone. We have not seen any signs of resource guarding, but new owners should be mindful to not grab things out of his mouth and leave him to eat in peace. Patch likes other dogs but is a little under socialised. He has shown friendly behaviour when off lead but has also tried to hump other dogs at times. Patch will need to be the only dog in the home for now but would love some friendly doggy walking buddies to interact with and help build up his social skills.
