Pinot

Pinot is a sweet, gentle boy who has already made an incredible transformation since arriving with us. When he first came into our care, he was a frightened little dog, deeply unsure of people and scared of being touched — especially around his neck. We later learned he had experienced trauma in that area, which made him fearful and defensive, anticipating he would be hurt.But now that Pinot knows he’s safe and loved, the change in him has been nothing short of amazing. The Pinot we see today is curious, inquisitive, and full of life. He greets the team with a wagging tail and a bright, happy smile, and he’s beginning to enjoy gentle strokes and seek out affection from people he trusts. Watching him grow in confidence has been truly heartwarming.Because of his past, Pinot is still sensitive about touch around his neck and isn’t yet ready to wear a collar or walk on a lead.
