Red is a Cane Corso puppy who came to Battersea after struggling to share her previous home with another dog.Her early experiences included some challenges around handling and food, and she has showed guarding behaviour in her former household which we have been working on to reduce through consistent training where improvements have been seen. Since arriving with us she has been a typical puppy who is excitable and mouthy at times which is very typical for her age, and she responds well to redirection to toys to teach her the correct outlets for her puppy behaviours which she has been picking up quickly!Red is still learning about the world and is growing in confidence each day when given the time and training she needs. She will need experienced owners who understand guarding breeds and can guide her positively through life in her new forever home.
