Ricky

Ricky is a wonderful 12-month-old Chow cross who came into our care after his owner took him to the vets to be put to sleep because of food aggression issues. But please don’t let that be the only thing you hear about Ricky… because he has SO much going for him. Ricky is delightful, happy and full of the joys of spring. He absolutely loves people, is fantastic on his walks and is dog friendly when out and about. He’s a lovely young dog with bags of personality and so much potential. We are looking for a very specific home for Ricky: Ricky must be the ONLY dog in the home. We don’t want any potential food-related skirmishes. There must be NO young children or visiting children. This is an important part of keeping Ricky, and everyone around him, safe and comfortable. Ricky does have an issue with food guarding/aggression, and his new family will need to be committed to working with him.
