17-11-25 Rio originally came to us a few months ago after his owner sadly became homeless and could no longer keep him. He was briefly adopted but has sadly been returned to our care as he could be quite strong on the lead and was reactive to other dogs on walks and his adopter was unable to manage this.Rio will be looking for an active home with adopters who have experience with dogs who can be reactive and who will help work on this with him. He enjoys his walks and loves to go on adventures.Rio is friendly and affectionate and is a real sweetheart who just wants to be close to those who care for him and in the right home, we think that he will make a wonderful companion.He could easily be homed as an only dog as long as his adopters were around and had plenty of time to spend with him. He does get along with other dogs at the rescue and so he could be homed with another kind, laid back dog.
