River

Are you right for River?River is a handsome 2 year old Greyhound ready to relax in a home now he has retired from racing. He is a sweet, friendly boy who could join a home with children of primary school age or older. He has been friendly meeting other dogs at the centre but does not always know what to do after the initial greetings, he would be best as the only dog in the home initially and would benefit from building his socialisation skills on walks - he has the potential to live with another well-matched dog in future. Due to his prey drive he would not be suitable to live with cats and River will need to be kept on lead when outside of the home so would like a secure garden for zoomies and play. Once settled, he could be left for short periods of time.
