River

This sweet girl is River. She is a very affectionate and friendly girl. In true Lurcher fashion she loves a good run around our compound chasing her toys then she is happy to go back to her cozy bed for a snooze. River loves going for long walks in the area exploring and having a sniff and she walks lovely on her lead. When she sees you River will always run over to say hello and the more attention she gets the better for her.River has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care so we feel following a successful meet and greet she could be rehomed with another similar sized dog (must be neutered).Due to her breed River cannot live with cats or small furries.As River came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children in the home to be 12+ years.Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge
