18-11-25 River originally came to us back in 2020 from a breeder and was adopted into a loving home, but sadly her family found they were unable to manage her needs, and she has now returned to our care.River is an incredibly intelligent and loving girl who forms strong bonds with those she trusts. Once she knows you, she is affectionate, eager to please, and wonderfully obedient. However, the world still feels very big and very scary to her, and when she becomes frightened she can become panicked and reactive. New people and unfamiliar situations overwhelm her, and her natural response is to bark and retreat.River will be looking for a calm and quiet home, preferably in a quiet area and would be better suited to rural life than life in a busy neighbourhood. She will need an adult only home, with no visiting children and a home where there are few visitors. Her ideal adopters will be experienced with reactive dogs and confident with handling.
