River

River originally came into our care in 2020 from a breeder and was adopted into a loving home. Sadly, her family later found they were unable to continue meeting her needs, and River has now returned to us.River is a highly intelligent, affectionate girl who forms very strong bonds with her people. According to her previous home, once she feels safe she is extremely loving, enjoys close contact and seeks reassurance from those she trusts. She loves cuddles, gentle scratches, and being near her humans, and is very in tune with their emotions, often offering comfort when someone is feeling down.River is a clever and enthusiastic learner who already knows a wide range of cues and enjoys training, enrichment and mental stimulation. She loves her toys, especially balls and tug toys, enjoys scent games such as “find it”, and is very food-motivated, peanut butter is her absolute favourite!
