05-03-26 Roan is a very sweet little puppy who came to us from a breeder, as he was unsold due to having Grade 4 luxating patellas. He has had x-rays which have been reviewed by both our vets and a specialist, and it has been advised that he will need to undergo specialist surgery to help his mobility. Unfortunately, this surgery cannot be carried out at the moment as he is so young and it will need to be done once he is older as soon as his growth plates have fused.We would love to find adopters who are happy to welcome Roan into their lives as he is now and who would be able to fund his operation when he is old enough. It's estimated that it would cost around £3000+ depending on which specialist you use and would not be covered by insurance as it's a pre-existing condition. It would be wonderful for him to settle into a loving forever home while he is still a puppy, so he can enjoy all the joys of puppyhood and get to know his new family.
