, loveable lad Robbie turned up at a home in Almeria where he was cared for by a family with young children and cats. He did absolutely brilliantly with them but they weren’t in a position to keep him, so he thankfully bagged himself a spot with one of our amazing fosters where he was living in a home with lots of other dogs and he did really well - good with the other dogs, and he was relaxed around the home. Robbie then made his way to the UK and into a home and initially struggled to settle after the transport which led to him moving to a foster home who are experienced with podencos. Since the move, he’s back to his old self and will happily snooze the day away! He’s put on weight which has really helped his overstimulation around food although he will steal other dogs food given the chance so this will need to be managed. We’re ideally looking for a home with one or two well balanced confident dogs that enjoy a play and won’t be intimidated by his size but can also continue to be ...
