Roo is a handsome 9-year-old crossbreed who came to Islay Dog Rescue from a kill shelter in Macedonia. Despite the hardships he has endured, Roo has remained the perfect gentleman, with a trusting, gentle, and loving nature.Roo enjoys his walks and is a pleasure to take out, walking beautifully on the lead and showing no reactivity towards other dogs, cars, or livestock. His calm and easy-going temperament makes him wonderful company wherever he goes.He loves his ham and chicken treats, always taking them politely, and his eagerness to please will make training a rewarding experience. Roo is a clever boy who responds well to positive reinforcement.Roo gets on well with other dogs and could happily live with a resident canine companion following careful introductions.
