Rosie

17-03-26 Rosie is a very sweet Irish Red Setter who originally came to us from a breeder and was adopted into a family home, where she lived for a couple of years. Sadly, her owners made the difficult decision to return her to us as they felt she was too socially anxious. She will be looking for a home with rescue dog experience and would be best suited to a quieter or rural area and would find busy urban areas overwhelming.Rosie is a beautiful and friendly girl. Although she was returned due to anxiety, she has settled back in well and appears calm and confident with the staff she knows. She already knows some basic commands such as “sit” and “paw” and is a clever, willing girl. When she is enjoying attention, she will gently paw you if you stop stroking her, which is her sweet way of asking for more affection.
