Ruby Tuesday

FOSTER or ADOPT required for partially sighted Brittany Spaniel, Ruby Tuesday. Born 2021, 12.5kg and originally from a rescue in Portgual, Ruby has been in Sussex with her owners since 2022. Ruby lost her sight recently and suddenly due to SARDS (Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome) - a medical condition that causes blindness in dogs when the retina stops processing light. Ruby has become totally blind in her left eye and partially sighted in her right eye. The transient lifestyle of her owners means that Ruby struggles with orientation and is frequently startled by dogs and people and bumps into things. Hence we are looking for a new home for Ruby, one that is well suited to her new needs. We are looking for a calm, confident permanent or foster home who will be sensitive to the fact that Ruby is adjusting to her sight loss.
