Rufus

Are you right for Rufus?Rufus is a 6 year old cockapoo. He can be worried meeting new people initially, but he doesn't take long to come round and when he knows you he is so cuddly and loves a fuss. Because of Rufus being a nervous boy around new people he must live with children age 16+ who have prior dog experience, just so they can read him and give him space when he needs it. Rufus can live with another dog in the home depending on a successful meet in the centre. Rufus can be frustrated/reactive on lead when he sees other dogs, but he is a friendly boy, and does love playing with other dogs. Because of this he would ideally need to live in an area not too built up with dogs, and with people who are willing to work on his reactivity and keep up his dog socialization and mixing. Rufus also needs a home without too many visitors, as he does find new people coming into his space quite scary, so a quiet household would suit him better.
