She is extremely unsure of us humans, and it’s clear she has never truly known kind, gentle hands. She will retreat into a corner when she is nervous and does not want to be approached or handled at this time.Rye will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home, allowing her to lean on them as she begins to learn about trust and companionship. Having a steady canine friend by her side will be essential in helping her feel safe and secure.She will need a quiet and calm home where she can settle in at her own pace, with adult-only adopters who understand the importance of giving her time and space. Her adopters will also need to have an understanding and experience with ex-breeders.
