Scrappy has been an assistance dog for many years but is now ready to retire to a patient, relaxed home. He is looking for company most of the time and a garden to play or relax in. He is not used to having stairs in the home.Scrappy has a grass allergy and takes daily medication and is older so has some routine age related issues. This condition would be covered under our Food and Veterinary Fund, as well as any other non-routine treatment covered under the Old Dog Scheme as Scrappy is over 8 years old.*Scrappy likes to decide when he wants to be petted and by whom. He is not cuddly with everyone. He does not seem to like tall, bearded men very much and is scared when children run up to him. Scrappy does not like to be touched on his ears. He is fine to be left alone for a few hours at home. He can bark if someone is at the front door or while travelling in the car.
