Despite her difficult past, she has retained her lovely nature and enjoys the company of people, pawing away at you to politely ask for more fuss. Shakira is a friendly, people-oriented girl who walks well on the lead and has shown herself to be wonderfully calm and cooperative in situations that might be stressful for other dogs. At the vets, she was an absolute star, allowing the veterinary team to examine and treat her without any fuss. She also spent valuable time in a foster home where she discovered her love for home comforts. Shakira has previously lived alongside other dogs and gets on well with them.
