Please meet the aptly named Sheepdog, although she’s never quite understood what all the fuss about sheep is!
At 7 years old, this lovely lady is embracing a healthier new chapter. Sheepdog is currently on a gentle weight-loss journey to improve her comfort and wellbeing. After not having regular exercise for some time, she’s slowly building up her daily walks with us and making steady progress.
She does have arthritis in her back end, so she’ll need an understanding adopter who can take this into account. She needs steady strolls over sprint sessions, softer grassy areas over long pavement walks, and ensuring she has plenty of cosy spots to rest her joints.
She would be happiest in a calm home without too much hustle and bustle, ideally with a garden where she can potter at her own pace. Sheepdog would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but she may be able to live alongside another older, calm dog pending introductions.
