Are you right for Barney?Barney, a 7-year-old Patterdale Terrier is a lively, intelligent working breed with plenty of character. He loves his food, which makes him a great candidate for training and enrichment games, although he can sometimes be a bit distracted by the world around him—he’s very interested in everything! He can be strong on the lead as he enjoys exploring, but with positive, consistent training he has great potential to improve. He’ll need an active home that can provide long walks as well as plenty of mental stimulation, but he’s also happy to settle down on the sofa after a busy day.

Basil would benefit from continued training and routine to help guide him through his teenage phase — he’s still very puppy-like in many ways!Basil may be able to live with another well-matched dog of similar size, pending successful introductions, and could live with older, dog-savvy children (secondary school age and up).Ideally, his new owner will have experience with large breeds or be confident in handling bigger dogs. Benji is a 5-year-old Terrier mix with a fun loving personality and plenty of energy to share with his future family. Slightly taller than your average terrier and weighing around 11kg, Benji is a compact little adventurer who enjoys keeping active but also appreciates the comforts of home.This playful boy loves his toys and will happily keep himself entertained with them, especially if someone is around to join in the fun. Benji enjoys getting out and about for his walks, exploring new smells and places. While he’s not the biggest fan of rainy weather, he will still head out for an adventure if he’s wearing his waterproof jacket even if he does so a little grumpily!We suspect Benji may have a bit of Staffy in his mix, especially when you hear his chattiness. When he wants something, whether that’s playtime, attention, or dinner he isn’t shy about telling you!Benji is also a very affectionate dog who loves being close to his people. In fact, one of his favourite ways to show affection is by giving your ears a very enthusiastic clean! After a good walk or a play session, he’s more than happy to settle down beside you on a nice cosy sofa for some well earned relaxation.Benji would love a home where he can enjoy regular walks and little adventures, before coming back to relax with his family.
