At just 1-year-old, this lovable Lurcher is full of personality, fun, and enough enthusiasm to brighten anyone's day.Atlas is still very much a teenager, which means life is one big adventure. His favourite thing is having plenty of space to stretch those long legs and let loose with some spectacular zoomies. Watching Atlas run is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.Once he's finished burning off his energy, Atlas transforms into the sweetest cuddle companion. He has absolutely no concept of personal space and is more than happy to climb straight onto your lap for a snuggle. Be warned though, you'll almost certainly be showered with plenty of kisses.Atlas can happily get along with other dogs after sensible introductions and would enjoy having canine friends to socialise with. He loves to play with other dogs and run around with them but he’s also more than happy to play with some toys.Like many young Lurchers, Atlas is still learning his manners on the lead. He can be bouncy and excitable when out and about, so he'll need an experienced owner who is confident handling a lively youngster and can continue his positive reinforcement training to help him become a calm, polite walking companion.Atlas is looking for someone who understands that he's still growing up and is willing to invest time, patience, and positive training into helping him become the well-rounded gentleman we know he's capable of being. It’s clear he hasn’t had much structure before coming into our care, so he’ll benefit from patient adopters who can continue his training and help him learn the ropes. He arrived with us as a stray and is still undergoing assessment, but he has already shown what a fun and affectionate dog he is.Chaplin is looking for a foster home with a view to adopt due to an injury to one of his legs. Lulu has very much been part of the family, and is clearly adored, you can tell she has been living a wonderful life with them and she of course, will need an adopter who will continue to take her on adventures, and allow her to be part of the family.Lulu loves swimming so if you enjoy the Lakes, she might be a great match. She is good on and off lead, new owners would need to keep her onlead until she has built a bond with you but she regularly goes off lead on her walks. She travels well in the car and is very sociable with other dogs, has been used to family dogs spending time with her and we feel she would love a home with another dog to enjoy her days with, an existing dog must be neutered.Lovely Lulu has been brought up around grand children who she has always been wonderful with, and so we would be happy for her to go to a home with young children providing they are respectful of allowing her to settle in and adapt to a new home. She is well trained, knows sit, down, stay and great recall in secure paddocks. Maggie is a very food orientated and will do anything for her next treat.
