I would like my family to be around most of the time.I could live with older children.I could live with another calm dog if introductions went well.Basil is a young, enthusiastic Mastiff cross who’s still finding his paws in the world.At just over a year old, he’s full of playful energy and has a lot of love to give but he can find being on his own a little overwhelming at times.He’s looking for a home where someone is around most of the time to help him build confidence and learn that independence can be a positive experience. Basil would benefit from continued training and routine to help guide him through his teenage phase — he’s still very puppy-like in many ways!Basil may be able to live with another well-matched dog of similar size, pending successful introductions, and could live with older, dog-savvy children (secondary school age and up).Ideally, his new owner will have experience with large breeds or be confident in handling bigger dogs. Bella is a playful, sweet and friendly little Frenchie with a wonderfully silly personality that will keep you smiling every day. She is a bit of a wuss deep down, so she can take a minute to warm up to new people, but once she realises you’re a friend, her sweet, silly personality and those wonderfully crazy eyes quickly steal your heart!She is completely toy mad and loves to chase a ball or destroy a stuffed teddy. Tug of war is great too! Treats are also a firm favourite, and she’ll never say no to a tasty snack! Bella absolutely loves a good bum scratch and will happily wiggle her way over for some fuss and attention. Benji enjoys getting out and about for his walks, exploring new smells and places. While he’s not the biggest fan of rainy weather, he will still head out for an adventure if he’s wearing his waterproof jacket even if he does so a little grumpily!We suspect Benji may have a bit of Staffy in his mix, especially when you hear his chattiness. When he wants something, whether that’s playtime, attention, or dinner he isn’t shy about telling you!Benji is also a very affectionate dog who loves being close to his people. In fact, one of his favourite ways to show affection is by giving your ears a very enthusiastic clean! After a good walk or a play session, he’s more than happy to settle down beside you on a nice cosy sofa for some well earned relaxation.Benji would love a home where he can enjoy regular walks and little adventures, before coming back to relax with his family. Poor Bobby, our celebrity dog featured in the press as our longest inmate, is back !! He went to a lovely home but fell madly in love with his new mum to such an extent that he couldn't bear to be parted from her. This was completely new behaviour for him. This boy is a mystery in a puzzle in an enigma but we are determined to find him the right home. He now has an updated profile: he doesn't now appear to have a problem with men;he's happy for joggers /cyclists to go past no problem;He's fine meeting other dogs out and about ; He doesn't like cats or pigeons . He only pulls on the lead for the first few minutes then walks nicely.He needs to be away from livestock and he would need careful/controlled introductions to visitors. If he bonds with his next person to the same extent they will need to gradually lengthen the time they are away from him- when left he can be very vocal so no near neighbours or else ones that are deaf!! Callie’s not very socialised and doesn’t know much about other dogs, so she’ll need a family happy to gently introduce her to doggy friends at whatever speed feels safest for her. Callie would really love to have the home all to herself, with no other dogs.Is Callie right for you?Callie has the sweetest soul! She’s so gentle and lovely, and clever too. She’s looking for a new home due to changed circumstances for her people. Callie would love to have someone around while she settles in, time then to be built up – Callie has been left for a few hours (she’s done up to four) with no issues. She’s a real lady on the lead, only pulling occasionally on the lead when there’s something interesting to sniff. She is three years old and knows a few basic commands. She’s house trained and currently has a lovely garden to venture out into, so would love a garden in her forever home. Callie loves a big squeaky balls and soft cuddly toys. At night, she sleeps by herself downstairs in her own bed.

He would suit a home where his family are around for much of the day, as he enjoys company and being part of everyday life.Freddie can be reactive to other dogs when out on walks and will need ongoing support and training in this area, he will need a confident owner when walking him. More information will be provided potential adopters prior to arranging an appointment.He is a very clever dog who enjoys learning, and he would benefit from a family who are keen to continue his training and possibly look into doing something more with him, such as scent-work, man-trailing or agility.Freddie could possibly live with another dog.

He can live with children aged 15 and over who understand that he is a large clumsy boy, who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when needed.Hamish likes his attention undivided so is looking to be the only pet in the home; however, once settled in the home, there is a potential for him to have doggy walking friend who can cope with his active personality. He is a very clever boy, he knows ‘sit’, ‘paw’ and ‘wait'. He is so eager to please and takes training on board very quickly - so far he has learnt heel, eye contact, distractions and is busy doing scent work, which he is so good at. Apart from his intelligence and training abilities, Hamish loves nothing more than a good snuggle on the couch - he loves people and has so much love to offer.Once settled into the home, Hamish can get a little worried being left alone, he could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his.
