Skye

Meet Skye — our gentle little worrier who just needs a friend to help her shine Skye is a sweet, sensitive girl who looks older than her years due to her worried expression. She can be anxious when meeting new people, but this doesn’t stop her from enjoying her walks. Her tail may be tucked and she may not show it outwardly, but she does like to explore and sniff. She recently visited Trosley Country Park with one of our long time volunteers. She was reluctant to get in and out of the car, but with time she began to relax and showed curiosity toward other dogs. When she met an ex Harvel greyhound, her whole body language changed — she was noticeably happier walking alongside another hound. Skye currently shares her kennel with another greyhound, Missy (F). They get along well aside from the usual “girls sharing a bed” disagreements. Skye often takes the lead and can be found standing protectively over Missy.
